Moulton track was junk and they decided to heat race rather than qualify. Started toward the rear of the field behind some slower cars and the car got tight which caused an understeer from the center of the corner off.  The result was Kevin dropped the right side off the top of the track, with the design of the track the right rear slid off the hump and the frame hooked causing the car to barrell roll 2 times and ended up on the right side during the third roll. Kevin was ok and we really want know about the car until we get the smashed body off. The main thing is all the safety equipment worked and the driver was not hurt, thanks to the workmanship of Larry Shaw Racecars.   On another note I have never witnessed a track that allowed so many to cause a caution and go to the pits and return to their spots in the race as last night. Good night even though we had a transmission problem. Kevin set fast time. He lead the first 5 laps and was pulling away from the 2nd place car at a rate of a car link every straight away. To set fast time against the locals is a feat in itself, but to do it on your only 2nd trip is quite an accomplishment. We have some parts ordered for the trans and the arrival of the parts will determine if and where we will go this weekend.

Our first time to see the track. Hot laps were good, changed a little on the setup and Kevin qualified 3rd not far off the pole setter. Started the feature and Kevin went directly to 2nd and stayed in that position the rest of the feature.

With the set-up we had we did not have much for the winner. When we go back I will increase the bite in the car which will make a big difference. All-in-all a good night

Wow! what a night!  New body and graphic design and a WIN! on our 1st race of the regular season..

Kevin started the heat race 9th and avoided a 3 car wreck in the 1st lap. He was running 4th and I thought he was content on 4th which with IMCA points and starting was okay. When the white flag came out he made a charge and took the lead coming out of corner 2 for the heat race win.

We started the main in 9th (IMCA points starting), He started passing cars in the bottom and top. Kevin passed the 3rd & 4th place cars on the top and the caution came out voiding that pass. When the green flag fell the two cars he passed before went to the top to block and he passed them on the bottom and slid back to the top.  His buddy Jeff fell in behind him and they went to the front and with afew laps left Jeff's engine let go.

Kevin ended with a win going away.

Kudos to Jeff even with the bad luck of the engine break. The driver and the car looked Good.

Ice Bowl Jan. 8 2007. Kevin won his heat and started 3rd in the feature. He moved up top and hooked a rut in turn 2 which kicked the right rear spring out of the bucket and the car got almost to tight to turn into the corner. We ended up 9th. The finish was not what we wanted but 9th out of 49 total cars is not a bad way to start 2007. We brought the car home in one piece which is a plus.
